We invite you to browse our web site to learn about our various County offices and the services Cherry County, Nebraska offers its citizens. Courthouse hours are from 8:30 - 4:30, Monday - Friday except on holidays.

Reminder

2nd half of the 2023 Real Estate and Personal Property Tax are due by August 31, 2024.  Interest will need to be added to all payments received ON or AFTER September 1st. Please contact the Treasurer’s Office by calling 402-376-1580 or email treasurer@cherrycountyne.gov.  Note: for your convenience, we have a new website to pay taxes online at https://nebraskataxesonline.us/ click on Cherry County to give you current tax information, current balance and make a payment.

Please include your tax statement stub with payment so that we can process correctly.

  • Drop off location: Drop box located in the south entrance of the new Courthouse
